Hazardous Ground Gas Risk Assessments

Our gas monitoring data is planned by our team of site technicians to meet varying atmospheric conditions and is collected using only calibrated instruments.

We can install dedicated gas monitoring equipment to allow the assessment of ground gas concentrations and flow rates. We also collect other important ground meteorological information to fully characterise the site under the latest guidance based on the  Conceptual Site Model.

We regularly liaise with the regulators (Environment Agency and Local Authority Contaminated Land Officers) and our clients to jointly agree upon the ground gas investigation strategy, remedial design and implementation, and the verification strategy to discharge planning conditions.

Our fully serviced and calibrated equipment can monitor for Landfill / Ground Gas Monitoring (typically Methane, Carbon Dioxide & depleted Oxygen), Mine Gas (Methane, Carbon Dioxide, depleted Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide & Hydrogen Sulphide) and Ground Vapours (PID Surveys).
